Osun governor expresses frustration over security challenges, says efforts to maintain peace are being hindered.
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has expressed dissatisfaction with the level of cooperation he is receiving from the Commissioner of Police in the state, saying the situation is affecting efforts to maintain peace and security.
Speaking on the security situation in Osun State, the governor said he was deeply concerned about the challenges confronting his administration despite the efforts of other security agencies.

“I am sad! I am very, very sad!! The Commissioner of Police in Osun State is not cooperating. That’s why we have been having problems. The security agencies are trying, but him, I don’t know what his problem is,” Adeleke said.
The governor, however, maintained that his administration remains committed to ensuring peace and stability across the state, noting that all necessary steps are being taken to prevent a breakdown of law and order.
Adeleke added that he is doing his best to keep Osun State peaceful and secure, while calling for greater collaboration among security stakeholders to address emerging challenges.
His comments come amid ongoing concerns over security and public safety in parts of the state.
