Take It Back Movement blocks major Ibadan route, calls for urgent action over kidnapped students and teachers.
Traffic was disrupted along the busy Iwo Road interchange in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Monday as protesters blocked the area during a demonstration demanding the release of abducted schoolchildren and teachers.
The protest, led by the Take It Back Movement, began around 10 a.m., with demonstrators calling for an end to insecurity and the rescue of victims kidnapped in Orire Local Government Area of the state.

National Coordinator of the group, Juwon Sanyaolu, said the protest would continue until all abducted persons across Nigeria regain their freedom.
The demonstration caused heavy traffic congestion around the Iwo Road axis, forcing motorists and commuters to seek alternative routes while some trekked to their destinations.
