First Lady calls for compassion, forgiveness and peaceful coexistence as Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Maulud.
Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has urged Muslims across the country to draw inspiration from the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) as they commemorate this year’s Eid-el-Maulud.
In her goodwill message, the First Lady said the celebration of the Prophet’s birth offers important lessons on compassion, forgiveness and peaceful coexistence.

She encouraged Muslims to emulate the noble virtues exemplified by Prophet Muhammad and promote peace in their homes, communities and across the country.
According to her, the values demonstrated by the Prophet remain relevant to fostering unity, strengthening peaceful relationships and promoting understanding among Nigerians.
Oluremi Tinubu expressed hope that the celebration would deepen the bonds of unity among citizens and bring renewed hope, peace and blessings to Nigerians.
She also prayed for a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria as Muslims mark the occasion.
