President Bola Tinubu has celebrated the Hausa people on the occasion of Hausa Day, praising their contributions to Nigeria’s unity, development and progress.

He expressed delight at celebrating the Hausa community as the event holds at the historic Daura Palace in Katsina State.
Hausa Day, also known as Ranar Hausa, is observed annually on August 26 to celebrate the Hausa language, culture and heritage. The celebration has grown into an international event promoting Hausa identity and cultural values.
