The newly constituted 10th National Senate of the Federation of Oyo State Students’ Union (FOSSU) has expressed appreciation to guests, student leaders, stakeholders and members of the media for their support towards its inaugural sitting.
The 10th National Senate of the Federation of Oyo State Students’ Union (FOSSU) has appreciated everyone who contributed to the success of its Inaugural and First Sitting held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the 500-Seater Hall, Emmanuel Alayande University, Oyo.
The Senate said the presence, goodwill and contributions of distinguished guests, student leaders and stakeholders demonstrated their commitment to the growth, unity and advancement of Oyo State students and the FOSSU institution.
The inaugural sitting marked a significant milestone in the legislative history of FOSSU, as it formally constituted the 10th National Senate while providing a platform to strengthen parliamentary engagement, promote unity among student leaders and set a progressive direction for effective representation and responsible student governance.
The Senate acknowledged the support of its Distinguished Guests of Honour, FOSSU National Executive President and National Executive Council, Zonal Presidents, JCC Chairmen, Chapter Senators and other stakeholders who contributed to the success of the event.
It also commended members of the press, particularly Banky TV, Top Media Nationwide, Star Potter and Foresight Media, for their presence, coverage and publicity, which helped project the significance of the event to a wider audience.
As the 10th National Senate begins its legislative journey, it pledged to pursue continued collaboration, constructive engagement and collective efforts towards building a stronger, united and progressive FOSSU.
The Senate further prayed for God’s continued blessings, wisdom, provision and greater accomplishments for all those who supported the occasion.
It reiterated its gratitude to everyone who honoured the invitation and contributed to the successful inauguration and first sitting of the 10th FOSSU National Senate.
