President Hails APC Campaign Council DG’s Political Experience and Grassroots Mobilisation
President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari, representing Zamfara West and Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, on his 58th birthday.
In a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described Yari as a loyal party member, experienced administrator and grassroots mobiliser whose political and organisational experience had contributed to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the country.
Yari served as Governor of Zamfara State from 2011 to 2019 and chaired the Nigeria Governors’ Forum during his tenure.
The statement also highlighted his current role as Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, where he is leading efforts to promote the administration’s Renewed Hope achievements and reforms ahead of the 2027 general elections.
President Tinubu commended Yari’s commitment, resilience and belief in the ideals of the APC.
The President prayed that Almighty Allah would grant Yari many more years in good health, wisdom and strength to continue serving his constituents, the party and Nigeria.
