President Bola Tinubu recorded a landslide victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) direct presidential primary election held across Ogun State.
The exercise was coordinated by Dapo Abiodun, who served as the Ogun State Coordinator and Collation Officer for the primary election.
According to the official figures announced after the exercise, 343,407 APC members were registered across the state, while 323,164 members were successfully accredited to vote.
A total of 322,485 votes were cast during the exercise, with Tinubu securing all the votes recorded in the primary.
His challenger, Osifo Osayamen Stanley, reportedly did not receive any vote.
The exercise was described by party officials as peaceful, orderly and transparent across the state.
Speaking after the collation of results, Governor Abiodun officially declared Tinubu winner of the 2026 APC direct presidential primary election in Ogun State on behalf of the party’s National Working Committee.
