Chief Executive Officer of Copacapana Group of Companies, Chief Ahmed Ajibola, popularly known as General H, has set a new Guinness World Records feat after signing 1,917 books within one hour.
The feat, recognised as the “Most Books Signed by an Author Within an Hour,” was achieved on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, during the launch of his book, The Book of Humanity, held at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, Oyo State.
Chief Ajibola’s achievement surpassed the previous record of 1,317 books signed within an hour, reportedly set by an Indian author in 2024.
Speaking at the event, Chief Ajibola expressed concern over recent developments around the world, stressing the need for humanity to unite beyond the boundaries of race, religion and ethnicity.
During the ceremony, Chief Ajibola was also conferred with the honour of Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics, Ghana.
The event was attended by business associates, friends, family members and well-wishers, who spoke about Chief Ajibola’s achievements and contributions.
In his remarks, Chief Ajibola paid glowing tribute to his mother and expressed appreciation to everyone who supported and celebrated the milestone with him.
He also encouraged aspiring record-breakers not to limit themselves, urging them to remain focused and determined.
According to him, any feat can be achieved when an individual sets their mind to it.
