EFCC alleges relationship therapist received ₦36 million for a property she did not own as trial continues in Lagos.
The Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, has fixed June 9, 2026, to rule on the bail application of popular relationship therapist and social media personality, Blessing Nkiruka Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO.
Blessing CEO is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over an alleged ₦36 million property fraud involving a duplex in Lekki, Lagos.

During proceedings, an EFCC investigator told the court that investigations revealed the defendant allegedly collected ₦36 million from a petitioner for a property that did not belong to her. The commission said records obtained from the Lagos State Land Bureau identified another individual as the property’s owner.
The witness further claimed that bank transaction analysis showed the funds were paid into Blessing CEO’s accounts and later transferred to several individuals and businesses.
The defence urged the court to grant bail on liberal terms, while the EFCC opposed the request, arguing that the defendant had previously failed to honour invitations during the investigation.
Justice Deinde Dipeolu adjourned ruling on the bail application until June 9 and fixed June 22, 2026, for the continuation of trial.
Blessing CEO faces a two-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and stealing, allegations she has denied.
