APM leadership introduces newly unveiled deputy governorship candidate to Governor Seyi Makinde ahead of 2027 elections.
The Oyo State chapter of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) has formally introduced its deputy governorship candidate, Engr. Muftau Open Salawu, to Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
Salawu, recently unveiled as the running mate to the party’s governorship candidate, Bimbo Adekanmbi, was presented during a courtesy visit to the governor’s residence.
The delegation was led by the Oyo State APM Chairman, Otunba Fagbemi Adegbenro, as part of the party’s ongoing political consultations and stakeholder engagements ahead of the 2027 Oyo State governorship election.
The visit underscores the growing political activities and alliances shaping preparations for the next electoral cycle in the state.
