Ajadi Strengthens 2027 Campaign, Reaches Out to OBF for Grassroots Backing

Olufemi Ajadi visits Benedict Akika-led forum, pledges empowerment programmes as 2027 political consultations gather momentum.

The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) candidate for Oyo Central Senatorial District, Ambassador Olufemi Ogundoyin Ajadi, has stepped up consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections with a strategic visit to the Omituntun Benedict Forum (OBF), led by philanthropist and community leader, Oloye Benedict Akika.

During the meeting, Ajadi appealed to members of the forum to support his senatorial ambition and other APM candidates, describing the 2027 election as an opportunity to sustain the developmental achievements recorded under Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration.

Speaking at the gathering, Akika highlighted the activities of the Omituntun Benedict Foundation and its socio-political arm, OBF, noting that the organisation has continued to champion humanitarian services, empowerment initiatives and grassroots development through its various groups across Oyo State.

Ajadi commended Makinde’s achievements in infrastructure, workers’ welfare and governance, urging members of the forum to mobilise support for the APM across wards and polling units in the state.

The senatorial hopeful also promised to roll out empowerment programmes before the election, assuring members that beneficiaries would be selected through the Omituntun Benedict Foundation to ensure fairness and inclusiveness.

The meeting ended with prayers for the success of the party and its candidates, while members of the Omituntun Benedict Forum reaffirmed their commitment to grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
