AAC presidential candidate ordered to produce two sureties, surrender international passport as trial continues.
A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted ₦200 million bail to the African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate and publisher, Omoyele Sowore, in connection with alleged cybercrime charges.
Justice Mohammed Umar reportedly ruled that Sowore must provide two sureties, including a traditional ruler from his community and the owner of a property in Abuja.

As part of the bail conditions, the court also ordered him to surrender his international passport pending the determination of the case.
The court subsequently released Sowore into the custody of his legal team and adjourned further proceedings in the matter until July 6, 2026.
