Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu applauds outgoing corps members for their patriotism and encourages them to leverage SAED skills to create jobs and contribute to national development.
The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has congratulated the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 corps members on the successful completion of their one-year national service.
In a farewell message published on the NYSC’s official Facebook page on Thursday, July 9, Nafiu commended the outgoing corps members for their dedication, patriotism, and valuable contributions to national development throughout their service year.

He urged them to remain worthy ambassadors of the NYSC scheme and uphold the values of discipline, unity, selfless service, and integrity wherever they find themselves.
The NYSC boss also encouraged the former corps members to make productive use of the knowledge and vocational skills acquired through the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme by becoming entrepreneurs and employers of labour.
Nafiu further charged them to remain committed to promoting national unity and contributing meaningfully to Nigeria’s growth and development as they begin the next phase of their lives.
