President describes late Chief Idowu Dada as a man of integrity, discipline and strong family values.

President Bola Tinubu has expressed condolences to his Special Assistant on Social Media, Olusegun Dada, following the death of his father, Chief Idowu Folorunsho Dada, who died at the age of 91.

The condolence was conveyed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Earlier on Tuesday, Segun Dada announced his father’s passing in a post on X, expressing grief over the loss and paying tribute to the late patriarch.

According to the Presidency, Tinubu described Chief Dada as a man whose life was marked by integrity, discipline and compassion. The President noted that the deceased had a distinguished career as a former Sales Manager at NEXAN Kablemetal Nigeria Plc, where he earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and associates.

President Tinubu also acknowledged Chief Dada’s role as a devoted father and mentor, saying he raised his children, including Segun Dada, with sound moral values while remaining committed to the Church and exemplary family principles.

The President extended his sympathies to the children and the entire Dada family, urging them to take solace in the late Chief Dada’s enduring legacy of service, integrity and a good name. He also prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul and for God to grant the family the strength and comfort to bear the loss.
