Governor approves one commissioner, three special advisers, 90 SSAs and 910 SAs to strengthen governance and grassroots engagement.
Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of one commissioner, three special advisers, 90 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and 910 Special Assistants (SAs) across the state.
The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan, said the appointments were aimed at strengthening governance, improving service delivery and enhancing grassroots engagement across the 18 local government areas.

Erelu Taibat Yemi Oloruntoba from Akoko North-West Local Government Area was nominated as Commissioner for Special Duties. Her name has been forwarded to the Ondo State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The governor also appointed Abimbola Fajolu as Special Adviser on Environment, Chief Ade Adeniyi as Special Adviser on Rural and Community Development, and Muyiwa Ogunyemi as Special Adviser on Transport.
Among the 90 SSAs appointed are officials responsible for women mobilisation, forestry, community engagement, students affairs, youth empowerment, public engagement, oil and gas, scholarship and grassroots mobilisation.
Adeniyan said the full list of the SSAs and the 910 SAs would be released later.
The appointments come months after the governor dissolved his political appointments and subsequently promised to reappoint 1,000 aides across the state.
According to the statement, all the appointments take immediate effect.
