The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced dates for the oral interviews for applicants seeking recruitment into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) and Federal Fire Service (FFS).

According to the board, applicants in the graduate category are to check their shortlist status from Monday, August 31, to Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

Candidates who applied with NCE, OND and SSCE qualifications are to check their status from Monday, September 7, to Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

The announcement follows the completion of the physical and medical screening stages of the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.

In a statement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril (retd.), the CDCFIB urged shortlisted candidates to print their invitation letters and attend their designated venues in the prescribed dress code.

The board stressed that only shortlisted candidates will be allowed into the interview venues and directed applicants to rely solely on the official recruitment portal for information.

The CDCFIB also warned applicants against fraudsters demanding money in exchange for employment, stressing that the recruitment process is completely free.

Candidates were advised to report anyone demanding payment for recruitment to the nearest security agency or appropriate authority.
