Police Launch Search for Mothers, Families
Two newborn babies, a boy and a girl, have been rescued after being abandoned in separate locations in Abuja.
The FCT Police Command said the babies were found in Kurudu and Gwagwalada after residents heard their cries and alerted the authorities.
According to the police, the infants have been rescued and are currently receiving medical attention.
The Command has launched an investigation to identify and locate their mothers and other family members.
Police also appealed to residents with useful information about the babies or their parents to come forward and assist the investigation.
