Erling Haaland scored the decisive goal as 10-man Manchester City secured a memorable 1-0 victory over Manchester United despite Phil Foden’s first-half red card.
Foden was sent off in the 23rd minute after kicking out at United captain Bruno Fernandes, leaving City to play the majority of the match with 10 men.

United, however, failed to capitalise on their numerical advantage and were punished when Haaland found the net.
