President Hails Kwara Governor’s Leadership, Public Service and Contributions to State Development
President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Kwara State Governor and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on his conferment as the Sardauna of Ilorin.
The traditional title will be conferred on AbdulRazaq by the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Kolapo Sulu-Gambari, in Ilorin on Wednesday, September 16.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described the honour as a fitting recognition of AbdulRazaq’s leadership, public service and contributions to the development of Kwara State.
The President particularly commended the governor’s efforts to promote inclusive growth, social cohesion and the welfare of the people.
President Tinubu also praised the Emir of Ilorin for preserving the role of traditional institutions in promoting harmony, supporting democratic governance and advancing sustainable development.
He urged AbdulRazaq to see the title not only as a mark of honour but also as a call to greater service and responsibility.
The President wished the governor continued success, wisdom, strength and good health as he assumes the responsibilities of the Sardauna of Ilorin.
