President Bola Tinubu has dismissed concerns about his health, saying he is “healthy, sound, and ready to go” after returning to Nigeria from his extended working vacation in Europe.
President Tinubu spoke with journalists on Tuesday after arriving in Lagos following his stay in France, where he spent the latter part of his trip.

Responding to questions about concerns raised by some Nigerians and supporters over his health, the President said there was nothing wrong with him.
“Ready to kick, ready to walk. There’s nothing wrong,” President Tinubu said.

“Rumour will always be emanating from politics, but the facts remain I’m here. Healthy, sound, and ready to go.”
President Tinubu departed Nigeria on August 30 for a three-week working vacation in Europe, initially travelling to London before proceeding to Paris, France.
The Presidency later announced an extension of his stay, saying the President remained in touch with developments in Nigeria and continued to direct the affairs of the country while abroad.
His return followed weeks of public discussion over the length of his stay outside the country, including criticism from political groups.
The African Action Congress also filed a suit against President Tinubu and the National Assembly over the trip, alleging that the President failed to notify the National Assembly before leaving the country.
President Tinubu is expected to resume official engagements in Nigeria ahead of the October 1 Independence anniversary.
