Manchester City defeated 10-man Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield on Sunday, extending their winning start to the Premier League season to six matches.

City sealed the victory through second-half goals from Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku and Rayan Cherki, silencing the home crowd.

Liverpool were reduced to 10 men after Ryan Gravenberch was sent off shortly before Haaland opened the scoring.

The victory came in City’s first match since they were found guilty of breaching Premier League financial rules. The club is appealing the verdict.

The result keeps City’s impressive league run intact, while Liverpool were left to reflect on a difficult afternoon at Anfield.
