The First Lady of Ogun State, Bamidele Abiodun, has partnered with the Federal Government to promote clean energy by distributing 3,500 eco-friendly cookstoves to residents in Abeokuta.
The initiative is part of a broader clean energy drive aimed at reducing dependence on traditional cooking methods that contribute to indoor air pollution and environmental degradation.
Beneficiaries across Abeokuta received the energy-efficient cookstoves as part of efforts to improve household health conditions, promote environmental sustainability, and support the Federal Government’s clean energy transition agenda.
The programme reflects ongoing collaboration between state and federal authorities to encourage the adoption of cleaner, safer, and more sustainable cooking solutions across communities.
