… hails Minister’s Leadership, Service and Contributions to National Development
Joshua Adewunmi Ogungbenro has celebrated former Minister of Power, Oloye Adebayo Adelabu, on his 56th birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Ogungbenro described Adelabu as “a distinguished leader and progressive-minded statesman,” saying his journey had been defined by “service, courage, resilience, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to progress.”
He said the birthday provided an opportunity to appreciate Adelabu’s contributions to public service and his commitment to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria.
“As someone who has followed and appreciated his leadership journey, I, Joshua Adewunmi Ogungbenro, wish to use this special occasion to reiterate my support, respect, and goodwill towards Oloye Bayo Adelabu,” he said.
Ogungbenro said he remained convinced that leadership should be centred on “service, character, vision, and the willingness to contribute to the growth and development of the people.”
He prayed for Adelabu to receive good health, wisdom, strength, peace of mind and greater grace to achieve his aspirations.
“May the new chapter of your life bring greater accomplishments, fulfilment, prosperity, and meaningful service to humanity,” Ogungbenro added.
He also described Adelabu as a potential source of inspiration to younger generations and wished him “many more years of good health, wisdom, success, peace, and purposeful service.”
