Top party figures meet behind closed doors to strengthen the APC’s structure and chart a united path ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Leading figures of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State have held a high-level strategy meeting as part of efforts to strengthen the party and position it for victory in the 2027 general elections.
The closed-door meeting, held on Thursday at the residence of former Senate Leader, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, brought together Senator Buhari Abdulfatai, former Oyo State Deputy Governor Rauf Olaniyan, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, and Senator Folarin.


According to sources, the meeting focused on developing a unified political strategy aimed at consolidating the APC’s grassroots structures, promoting cohesion among party stakeholders, and expanding support across the state.
The leaders also discussed plans to mobilise the party ahead of the 2027 polls, with the goal of delivering Oyo State for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The meeting is seen as part of the APC’s early preparations to strengthen its political base in Oyo State and improve its chances in the next general election.
