The Fola Homecoming Concert in Ibadan has received a boost following the support of federal lawmaker Hon. Stanley Olajide Odidiomo, who purchased 500 tickets for youths in the city.
The concert is scheduled to hold on October 3, 2026, at Agodi Gardens, Ibadan, and is expected to attract music lovers, entertainment enthusiasts, celebrities and members of the Ibadan social scene.
Odidiomo expressed his excitement about Fola’s return to Ibadan, describing the concert as an opportunity to celebrate the artiste and give young people a memorable entertainment experience.
“I will be glad to welcome Fola back home,” the lawmaker said while receiving a Fola signature T-shirt presented to him by the concert committee at his residence in Adeoyo, Ring Road, Ibadan.
He also announced his support for the event and his decision to make 500 tickets available to youths in the city.
The gesture has generated excitement among young entertainment enthusiasts expected to attend the concert.
The lawmaker’s support is also expected to give more young people access to the live entertainment experience and provide an opportunity for them to connect, unwind and celebrate the artiste.
