President says economic reforms require temporary sacrifice, urges campaign movement to promote unity and democratic engagement.
President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the reforms introduced by his administration will deliver lasting prosperity, saying the policies are designed to secure a better future for the country.
Represented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio at the inauguration of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Abuja on Thursday, President Tinubu said his administration chose the path of courage by implementing difficult but necessary reforms, including fuel subsidy removal and foreign exchange unification.

The President noted that while the reforms may involve temporary sacrifices, they are aimed at creating greater opportunities, economic stability and improved living standards for future generations.
President Tinubu also urged members of the campaign movement to engage Nigerians with honesty, respect and patriotism, stressing that politics should unite rather than divide the country. He reaffirmed that all arms of government remain committed to ensuring that citizens benefit from the administration’s reform agenda.
