President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Nigerians to embrace love, tolerance and unity as Muslims across the country celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
The President made the call on Wednesday shortly after observing the Eid prayers at the Dodan Barracks prayer ground in Lagos.

Tinubu thanked Almighty Allah for preserving the lives of Nigerians to witness another Eid-el-Kabir celebration and urged citizens to reflect on the lessons of the season.
According to him, Nigerians must continue to show love to one another and avoid discrimination, ethnic division and hatred.
The President also encouraged citizens to be generous and compassionate in ways that reflect the country’s values and shared humanity.
He further stressed the importance of tolerance, obedience to the will of Allah and respect for the rule of law as essential ingredients for a peaceful society.
Speaking on the significance of sacrifice during Eid-el-Kabir, Tinubu noted that the celebration highlights the sanctity and value of human life.
