… Party members endorse “ERE” after peaceful primary across six wards in Oyo State
Hon. Olalere Ajibola Solomon, popularly known as ERE, has emerged as the candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement for the Oyo State House of Assembly seat in Akinyele Constituency 2 ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The primary election was conducted across the six wards of Akinyele Constituency 2, covering Ward 7 to Ward 12 in Akinyele Local Government Area, where party members unanimously endorsed Olalere Solomon as the sole candidate.
The exercise was described as peaceful, reflecting unity and strong grassroots support for the candidate within the party structure.
Speaking after the primary, Hon. Olalere Solomon ERE expressed appreciation to stakeholders, party leaders, and members for the confidence reposed in him and for ensuring a smooth process.
He also acknowledged the support of the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, party faithful, and stakeholders, describing the outcome as a collective victory for the people of Akinyele Constituency 2.
According to him, the primary result reflects a shared commitment to purposeful representation, grassroots development, and inclusive leadership.
Olalere Solomon further commended party leaders for their guidance and pledged not to take their trust and sacrifices for granted.
He assured members of his commitment to the ideals of the party and promised to deliver quality representation and dividends of democracy if elected.
The APM candidate called on party members to remain united and focused ahead of the general elections, stressing that collective effort would be key to securing victory at the polls.
