Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has called on the Federal Government to intensify efforts to rescue 40 schoolchildren abducted in Borno State, saying they have remained in captivity for more than 110 days.
Governor Makinde made the call while drawing attention to the abduction, which he said occurred on the same day as the Oriire abduction in Oyo State.
“I’m calling on the FG to intensify efforts to rescue the 40 schoolchildren abducted in Borno State same day as Oriire abduction, who have remained in captivity for over 110 days,” the governor said.
