Incumbent governor secures overwhelming victory with 319,224 votes, defeating PDP’s Wole Oluyede and ADC’s Dare Bejide.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Biodun Oyebanji, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), winner of the 2026 Ekiti State Governorship Election.
Oyebanji secured a decisive victory with 319,224 votes to earn a second term in office, defeating his closest rivals from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

According to the official results announced by INEC, the PDP polled 40,543 votes, while the ADC garnered 12,872 votes.
The outcome confirms the APC’s dominance in the state, with Oyebanji recording victories across the majority of local government areas in the election.
