Authorities intensify manhunt for fleeing suspect, Suri Ilupeju, as investigations into alleged weapons stockpile continue.

The Oyo State Police Command has paraded five suspects arrested in connection with the recovery of firearms and other incriminating items from a building recently demolished by the Oyo State Government in Ibadan.

Police authorities disclosed that investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend the principal suspects linked to the alleged arms cache uncovered at the property.

The demolished building was reportedly connected to Surajudeen Adio, popularly known as Suri Ilupeju, who is currently on the run. According to the police, photographs of the fugitive suspect were recovered from the premises during the investigation.

The property was demolished on June 16 as part of the state government’s efforts to dismantle structures allegedly associated with criminal activities and enhance security across the state.

The police assured residents that all individuals connected to the case would be tracked down and brought to justice, while efforts to arrest the fleeing suspect have been intensified.
