OBF Throws Weight Behind Makinde, Ajadi as APM Strengthens Grassroots Campaign

Forum joins APM familiarity tour in Akinyele/Lagelu, declares support for PDP-APM alliance and key candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The Omituntun Benedict Forum (OBF), Oyo State Chapter, has reaffirmed its commitment to the PDP-APM Alliance and its 2027 political agenda during the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) Familiarity and Thank-You Tour to Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency.

The tour, led by the APM governorship candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, attracted party leaders, alliance stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women, and residents who gathered to strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Participants described the visit as an opportunity to appreciate the people of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency for their continued support while reinforcing unity within the alliance.

The Omituntun Benedict Forum, founded by philanthropist Oloye Benedict Akika (JP), declared its unwavering support for the Omituntun 3.0 agenda, expressing confidence in the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde and the alliance’s vision for the state.

The forum also endorsed the 2027 political ambitions of Governor Seyi Makinde for the presidency, Ambassador Olufemi Oguntoyinbo Ajadi for Oyo Central Senatorial District, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Hon. Abiola Monsuru for Akinyele State Constituency I, and Hon. Solomon Olalere for Akinyele State Constituency II.

Speaking at the event, party leaders stressed the need for unity, sustained grassroots mobilisation, and collaboration among members of the PDP-APM Alliance to secure victory in the 2027 elections.

They urged supporters to remain committed to the alliance’s vision of good governance, inclusive development, and people-centred leadership, expressing optimism that the coalition would achieve significant success at the polls.
