President condemns killing of about 30 residents in Kauru community, vows perpetrators will face justice.
President Bola Tinubu has directed the Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies to intensify operations in Kaduna State to track down those responsible for the attack on Naridon Village in Kamaru Ward of Kauru Local Government Area, secure the release of abducted victims and restore peace to the affected communities.
The President issued the directive on Tuesday while condemning Monday’s attack on the community, which claimed the lives of about 30 residents, including women and children, and left several houses razed.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described the assault as a barbaric and cowardly act of terror against innocent and defenceless citizens, warning that those behind the attack would not escape justice.
He said criminal elements seeking to undermine the hard-earned peace and improved security in Kaduna State would be decisively dealt with.
The President extended his condolences to the bereaved families, Governor Uba Sani, the Kaduna State Government and the people of Kaduna State over the tragic incident. He also assured the state government and affected communities of the Federal Government’s support in addressing the security challenges.
“I have directed the Armed Forces, police, and relevant intelligence agencies to intensify operations across the affected areas to track down the perpetrators swiftly, secure the release of abducted individuals, and restore normalcy to the region,” Tinubu said.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening the nation’s security architecture by equipping response personnel and dismantling criminal networks threatening the country’s peace and stability.
The President further urged residents of the affected communities and members of the public to support ongoing security operations by providing timely and actionable intelligence to security agencies to enable swift responses to emerging threats.
