LASTMA says no casualties were recorded as rescue teams cleared the accident scene.

A multiple-vehicle accident involving a car and two trucks caused a traffic backlog on the Gbagada Expressway in Lagos on Thursday morning.

The crash occurred at the Gbagada Ramp Bridge connecting to Ifako, according to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).

LASTMA said no casualties were recorded in the accident, which initially obstructed the access road and disrupted traffic flow.

The agency said safety cones were deployed around the scene while its rescue team worked to evacuate the vehicles and restore normal traffic.

LASTMA later confirmed that all three vehicles involved in the crash had been removed from the road and normal traffic flow restored.
