FIFA has announced that fans attending the 2026 World Cup in the United States and Canada will be allowed to bring one factory-sealed disposable plastic water bottle into stadiums.

The decision comes after criticism of an earlier policy that prohibited refillable water bottles, raising concerns about hydration and additional costs for supporters.
