Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has announced fresh appointments into key positions in his administration, including the nomination of Dr. Olabode Taiwo Ladipo as commissioner-designate.
Dr. Ladipo, currently the Permanent Secretary, General Administration, has been nominated for appointment as commissioner, subject to confirmation by the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The governor also appointed Arc. Ifeoluwa Akande as Chairman of the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport Upgrade Committee, Hon. Isola Abiodun Adekunle as Executive Adviser on Intra-Party Affairs, and Hon. Oladejo Emmanuel Oladokun as Part-Time Member of the Local Government Service Commission.
The appointments, contained in a letter signed by the Governor’s Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, take effect from July 1, 2026.
Governor Makinde congratulated the appointees and urged them to discharge their duties with dedication, loyalty and a commitment to delivering quality service to the people of Oyo State.
