Candidates can access slips within two hours as document becomes mandatory for post-UTME and admission processes.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their original result slips within two hours of issuance.
JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, stating that the official slips contain candidates’ photographs, national ranking, and security features required for post-UTME screening and admission processing.

The Board said candidates can print their original result slips using any internet-enabled device, either personally or through accredited business centres.
JAMB advised candidates to carefully confirm their details after printing and keep copies of the document for future admission-related purposes.
The release of the original result slips follows the completion of the main UTME held in April and the mop-up examination conducted on June 13 for candidates affected by technical and biometric challenges.
The development will enable candidates to proceed with applications for the 2026/2027 tertiary institution admission cycle, as several schools prepare for post-UTME exercises.
