Board says admission ranking process will begin as result slip printing commences this week.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise.
JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, announced the development on Tuesday, stating that candidates who participated in the examination can now check their results through the Board’s approved platforms.

According to the Board, the release of the mop-up results concludes the examination phase and clears the way for the commencement of candidate ranking for admissions.
Benjamin added that the printing of result slips required for admission processing is expected to begin before the end of the week.
The mop-up examination was held on June 13, 2026, for candidates who were unable to take part in the main UTME due to technical issues, biometric verification challenges, or other disruptions despite being successfully verified.
JAMB thanked candidates, parents, and stakeholders for their cooperation throughout the examination process and reiterated its commitment to a transparent and efficient admission exercise.
