Governor Adeleke meets President for first time since securing second term in Osun governorship election.
President Bola Tinubu is receiving Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Governor Adeleke arrived at the Villa at about 5:25pm on Thursday, accompanied by the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.

The meeting is Governor Adeleke’s first with President Tinubu since he was re-elected governor of Osun State in last Saturday’s governorship election.
The visit comes days after President Tinubu personally congratulated Adeleke on his victory, describing the outcome as an assurance that democracy would continue to flourish in Nigeria.
The President had also urged the governor to unite residents of Osun State irrespective of their political affiliations.
Several Osun State officials were also seen at the Presidential Villa, including the Director-General of the Adeleke Campaign Council, Senator Lere Oyewumi; a member of the council, Sunday Bisi; the governor’s Chief of Staff, Akinleye Kazeem; and a member of the House of Representatives, Bamidele Salam.
Details of the meeting were not immediately available as of the time of filing this report.
