… Deputy governor says Oyo governor has intensified efforts to secure victims’ safe return
The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Bayo Lawal, has said Governor Seyi Makinde is deeply disturbed by the recent abduction of children in the state.
Speaking on the incident, Lawal said the governor has been making intense efforts behind the scenes to ensure the safe return of the victims.
According to the deputy governor, Makinde has barely had enough rest since the abduction occurred due to his level of concern and involvement in the situation.
Lawal also stated that there are sensitive details the government cannot publicly disclose at the moment, noting that security agencies and relevant authorities are actively working to resolve the matter.
He assured residents that the state government remains committed to securing the release of the abducted children and addressing the security challenges surrounding the incident.
