A visibly excited supporter of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has appealed to him to extend what he described as the governor’s positive impact in Oyo State to Abuja and Nigeria at large.
In a video from the Boye Nation/JAF Movement Mega Concert in Ibadan, the supporter could be heard shouting in Yoruba as he called on Makinde to “have mercy” on Nigerians.
“Makinde, have mercy on us. Just as you have helped Oyo, help Abuja, help Nigeria. We are the ones who have called you; Oyo has called you,” he said.
The supporter also appeared to take a swipe at those he believed were being misled, saying, “Those who are being deceived know themselves.”
BankyTv Media captured the moment at the political gathering, where Makinde had earlier declared confidence in the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) ahead of the 2027 elections.
