Ibadan monarch commends security agencies for swift response, says residents must remain united despite differences.
The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has appealed for calm following the clash in the Ojoo area of Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State.
In a statement issued through his media aide, Adeola Oloko, the monarch urged residents of all ethnic backgrounds to continue living peacefully, stressing that Ibadan remains a home for people from different parts of Nigeria.

Oba Ladoja acknowledged that disagreements may occur but called on those involved in the crisis to exercise restraint, especially in view of the country’s current security challenges.
The traditional ruler also commended security agencies, particularly the police, for their prompt response to the incident, expressing confidence that peace and normalcy would be sustained in the area.
