Board says it has no role in setting, handling or administering the examination, threatens legal action over defamatory claims.
The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) has denied allegations linking it to the alleged leakage of results from the recently concluded Common Entrance Examination in the state.
In a statement, the Board described the allegation, reportedly made during a programme on a radio station in Ibadan, as false, misleading and capable of damaging its reputation.

OYOSUBEB said it had no involvement in the conduct, setting, production or handling of questions for the Common Entrance Examination.
The Board stressed that any allegation linking its Executive Chairman, Dr Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, or its officials to the purported leakage was unfounded.
It maintained that the administration of Adeniran had consistently upheld transparency, accountability and professionalism in the discharge of its responsibilities.
According to the Board, complaints or inquiries concerning the conduct, administration or outcome of the examination should be directed to the Oyo State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, which it identified as the appropriate authority responsible for the examination.
OYOSUBEB urged media organisations to verify information before publishing or broadcasting allegations against the Board and its officials.
The Board also warned that defamatory statements, false allegations or continued attempts to tarnish the reputation of Adeniran would attract legal action.
It said it would pursue all lawful remedies available to protect the integrity and reputation of its leadership.
OYOSUBEB urged members of the public to disregard the allegation and rely on verified information from the appropriate authorities, while reaffirming its commitment to strengthening basic education across Oyo State.
