… directs Security Agencies to Intensify Rescue of Abducted Children
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed security agencies and relevant government ministries to strengthen security around schools located in vulnerable and high-risk areas across the country.
In his 2026 Children’s Day message, the President said the Federal Government is committed to improving the safety of pupils and students amid rising concerns over insecurity and school kidnappings in parts of Nigeria.
Tinubu also disclosed that security agencies have been instructed to intensify rescue operations for abducted children and other vulnerable citizens, particularly victims recently kidnapped in Oyo State and Borno State.
The President assured Nigerians that the protection of children remains a top priority for his administration and called for collective efforts to create safer learning environments across the country.
