Operation Hadin Kai records fresh gains as troops intercept suspects, recover weapons and disrupt terrorist supply networks.
The Headquarters of Joint Task Force (North East), Operation Hadin Kai, has announced the arrest of several suspected Boko Haram and ISWAP logistics suppliers in Borno State as part of ongoing counter-terrorism operations under Operation Desert Sanity V.
According to the task force, intelligence-led operations across Borno and Yobe states led to the arrest of suspects allegedly involved in supplying fuel, food and other logistics to terrorist groups.

Among those arrested was 40-year-old Girema Aliko, who was reportedly apprehended at Benisheikh Market while transporting 30 litres of petrol. Military authorities said he confessed to supplying fuel and logistics to terrorist elements.
Troops also arrested another suspected logistics supplier and informant, Mohammed Bulama, in Maiduguri, while an absconded soldier, Private Umar Bema, was apprehended with his rifle after allegedly deserting his unit and engaging in criminal activities.
In separate operations, security forces arrested suspected kidnappers and terrorist collaborators, recovered ammunition and explosives, and intercepted food supplies allegedly destined for Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters.
The military also disclosed that two suspected ISWAP members were arrested in Adamawa State, while a fleeing insurgent surrendered with two children in the Kukawa axis due to sustained military pressure.
Operation Hadin Kai said the operations have significantly disrupted terrorist networks, weakened their logistics base and reduced their ability to operate across the North-East, reaffirming its commitment to restoring lasting peace and security in the region.
