CPS Confirms Dancer Still Scheduled for Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing
The sexual offence case involving Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, remains active in the United Kingdom (UK), with his plea and trial preparation hearing scheduled for September 15, 2026.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirmed to PUNCH Online on Saturday that Odinaka is still expected to appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court for the hearing.
The CPS said the case “is still live” and that Odinaka remains scheduled for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing (PTPH).
A PTPH is a pre-trial hearing where matters relating to a defendant’s plea and preparations for trial are considered.
The CPS did not clarify whether Odinaka has been released from custody or remains on remand, following reports circulating online about his alleged release.
