In a massive boost to the education sector, the Speaker ensures educators ride in style and comfort to their classrooms.
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has distributed 1,000 motorcycles to teachers across Kaduna State to tackle transportation challenges.
The beneficiaries were drawn from the 23 local government areas, with priority given to teachers posted to remote and hard-to-reach communities.
Tajudeen said the intervention is aimed at reducing lateness, cutting transport costs, and boosting teacher efficiency.He described teachers as the foundation of education and pledged more support for the sector.
Beneficiaries and education stakeholders praised the move, noting it will improve punctuality and classroom delivery.The motorcycle donation is part of the Speaker’s ongoing constituency empowerment projects focused on education and youth development.
