Governor meets victims receiving medical care after their release from 56 days in captivity.
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has visited the pupils and teachers rescued after spending 56 days in captivity following their abduction in Oriire Local Government Area of the state.
The governor arrived at the Military Hospital in Ibadan, where the victims are receiving medical attention and post-rescue care, to meet with them and assess their condition.

The visit came hours after the rescued pupils and teachers were reunited with their families, ending weeks of anxiety and uncertainty for their loved ones.
The victims regained their freedom on Friday following a coordinated operation by security agencies, bringing relief to residents and marking the end of a 56-day ordeal.
