Teslim Folarin has broken his silence over the controversy surrounding the All Progressives Congress governorship primary election in Oyo State.
Speaking on the issue, Folarin said party members had been instructed not to comment publicly on the exercise pending the official announcement of results in Abuja.

“The party has told us not to say anything regarding the Oyo APC Governorship Primary Election. The result will be announced in Abuja and I am going to support any candidate that emerges because I am a party man,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Sharafadeen Alli emerged winner of the APC governorship primary in the state after recording a decisive victory.
According to the results announced from the exercise, Alli polled 91,824 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Adebayo Adelabu, who secured 7,532 votes.
Other contestants included Fatai Buhari with 6,963 votes, Akeem Agbaje with 1,475 votes, and Rauf Olaniyan who recorded 992 votes.
Alli’s victory positions him as the APC governorship flagbearer ahead of the next governorship election in Oyo State.
