Teenager breaks national record after passing ICAN professional exams, earning praise from Youth Minister Ayodele Olawande.

Sixteen-year-old Osasere Okundaye has become the youngest person to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in Nigeria after successfully passing the professional examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Her remarkable feat breaks the previous national record set by Jonathan Adewale, who qualified at the age of 17 in 2022.

Reacting to the achievement, the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, congratulated the teenage accountant, describing her as a shining example of the immense potential of Nigerian youths.
